Luxury Car Rental with Driver in Jaipur: Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Premium SUVs

Consider a couple from Auckland celebrating their twentieth anniversary, stepping out of the arrivals hall at Jaipur International Airport after a long connection through Delhi. They have booked three nights at a palace hotel, they want to see Amber Fort before the crowds, and they would rather not spend their holiday squeezed into a small hatchback with a failing AC. What they need is a luxury car rental with driver in Jaipur: a quiet, cool, well-presented car, a driver who speaks good English and knows the city, and pricing that is clear from the start. This is exactly the kind of trip we arrange every week at Heritage India Private Tours.

The top tier of the Jaipur rental market is the Mercedes-Benz S Class and E Class. The S Class is the flagship limousine, with rear reclining seats, rear climate control, soft-close doors and a ride that feels almost silent even on rough city roads. It seats up to four guests but is happiest with two or three. The E Class is a long-wheelbase executive sedan, very popular with business travellers and couples, offering most of the comfort of the S Class at a noticeably lower price. Both cars have boot space for two large suitcases and two cabin bags, which is enough for most couples and small families.

Next comes the BMW 5 Series and the Audi A5 and A6. The BMW 5 Series is a sporty, refined sedan with excellent rear legroom in its long-wheelbase Indian version, ideal for full-day sightseeing and highway trips to Ranthambore or Pushkar. The Audi A6 is a comfortable, understated executive car with a quiet cabin and a large boot, while the Audi A5 Sportback is a sleeker four-door coupe that suits couples and honeymooners who want a stylish car for photographs at palace hotels. Our own fleet includes the BMW 5 Series, Audi A5 and Mercedes-Benz S Class, each seating four guests, and we source the E Class and A6 from trusted partners when needed.

For families and small groups, premium SUVs and MPVs make more sense than sedans. The Toyota Fortuner is a tough, high-riding SUV that handles village roads, the climb to Nahargarh and the drive to Ranthambore National Park with ease, seating six adults comfortably. The Toyota Innova Hycross is a newer hybrid MPV with captain seats in the middle row, a panoramic sunroof on top versions and a very smooth ride, carrying six guests with luggage. The Kia Carnival is the most spacious luxury MPV available in Jaipur, with powered sliding doors, lounge-style middle-row seats and space for six to seven guests, and it is a favourite for families with grandparents.

Choosing between these vehicles comes down to group size, luggage and the type of roads on your itinerary. Two guests on a city-and-palace trip will love a Mercedes or BMW, while a family of five heading to Ranthambore for a safari is better served by a Fortuner or Hycross. For six guests with large bags, the Kia Carnival is usually the most comfortable choice. If you are not sure, share your group size and route and we will suggest a vehicle that suits your trip and budget without overselling.

Jaipur Luxury Car Prices for Half-Day, Full-Day and Airport Transfer Packages

Local rentals in Jaipur follow two standard packages: the 4 hours and 40 km package, suitable for an airport transfer with a short stop or a half-day of sightseeing, and the 8 hours and 80 km package, which covers a full day of city touring. Extra hours and extra kilometres are billed separately, and a night charge applies after 10 PM. All prices below are quoted on the higher side for peak season between October and March, so your final bill is more likely to come in lower than higher.

For the Mercedes-Benz S Class in Jaipur, expect INR 12,000 to 16,000 (about USD 145 to 192) for 4 hours and 40 km, and INR 18,000 to 26,000 (USD 215 to 312) for 8 hours and 80 km. Extra hours cost INR 1,800 to 2,500 and extra kilometres INR 180 to 250 each. The Mercedes-Benz E Class costs INR 8,500 to 11,000 (USD 102 to 132) for the half-day package and INR 12,000 to 16,000 (USD 145 to 192) for the full day, with extra kilometres at INR 110 to 150.

The BMW 5 Series with driver costs INR 8,500 to 11,500 (USD 102 to 138) for 4 hours and 40 km, and INR 12,500 to 17,000 (USD 150 to 205) for 8 hours and 80 km. The Audi A6 is priced similarly, at INR 8,000 to 11,000 for the half-day and INR 12,000 to 16,000 for the full day, while the Audi A5 runs INR 7,500 to 10,000 and INR 11,000 to 15,000 respectively. Extra kilometres for these cars are typically INR 100 to 140 each, and extra hours INR 1,000 to 1,500.

For premium SUVs and MPVs, the Toyota Fortuner costs INR 4,500 to 6,000 (USD 54 to 72) for 4 hours and 40 km and INR 6,500 to 8,500 (USD 78 to 102) for 8 hours and 80 km. The Innova Hycross costs INR 4,000 to 5,500 for the half-day and INR 6,000 to 8,000 for the full day. The Kia Carnival sits higher, at INR 6,500 to 8,500 for the half-day and INR 9,500 to 12,500 (USD 114 to 150) for the full day. Extra kilometres on these vehicles cost INR 25 to 45 each.

Airport transfers to palace hotels are priced as fixed one-way trips. From Jaipur International Airport to Rambagh Palace, Taj Jai Mahal, ITC Rajputana or the Oberoi Rajvilas, expect INR 5,500 to 8,000 in a Mercedes S Class, INR 4,000 to 5,500 in a BMW 5 Series, Audi or E Class, INR 2,800 to 3,800 in a Fortuner or Hycross and INR 4,000 to 5,000 in a Kia Carnival. Transfers to Fairmont, the Leela or Samode Palace cost more because of the longer distance. Our drivers meet guests at the arrivals exit with a name board, help with bags and carry chilled water in the car. Parking, tolls and driver allowance are included in these transfer prices, but late-night pickups after 11 PM attract an extra INR 500 to 1,000.

Outstation Luxury Car Trips from Jaipur to Ranthambore, Pushkar, Samode and Udaipur

Many guests use a luxury car with driver from Jaipur for day trips and longer outstation journeys. Outstation billing works differently from city packages: it is charged per kilometre, with a minimum of 250 km per day, plus a driver allowance of INR 600 to 1,000 per day and actual tolls and parking. Interstate taxes apply only when crossing into another state, so trips within Rajasthan avoid this cost.

Jaipur to Ranthambore is about 180 km and takes roughly three and a half hours via Tonk and Sawai Madhopur. Most guests stay two nights to fit in two or three jungle safaris, which run in two shifts, early morning from around 6:30 AM and afternoon from around 2:30 PM, with timings shifting a little through the season. A Fortuner or Innova Hycross is the most practical choice because the hotel approach roads are rough in places, and a round trip of about 400 to 450 km with local running costs INR 14,000 to 19,000 (USD 168 to 228) including allowance and tolls. In a BMW 5 Series, the same trip costs INR 38,000 to 48,000 (USD 455 to 575).

Jaipur to Pushkar is about 145 km and takes around two and a half to three hours via the Ajmer highway. It works well as a long day trip, leaving Jaipur at 7:30 AM, visiting the Brahma Temple and the lake, having lunch at a rooftop restaurant and returning by 7 PM. A Mercedes E Class costs INR 32,000 to 42,000 for the day, a Fortuner INR 9,500 to 12,500 and a Kia Carnival INR 15,000 to 19,000. Many guests extend into an overnight stay in Pushkar, particularly in early November during the camel fair season, when hotel rates rise sharply.

Jaipur to Samode Palace is only about 45 km and a one-hour drive, so it is often done as a lunch or afternoon tea trip. Guests visit the painted Durbar Hall and Sheesh Mahal, have lunch on the terrace and return in time for sunset at Nahargarh. Entry to the palace for non-residents usually requires a lunch or tea booking. In an S Class, this works as an 8 hours and 80 km package at about INR 18,000 to 26,000, while a BMW or Audi costs INR 12,500 to 17,000 and a Fortuner INR 6,500 to 8,500.

Jaipur to Udaipur is about 400 km and takes six and a half to seven hours via the Kishangarh and Chittorgarh highway. A popular approach is to break the drive with a stop at Chittorgarh Fort, adding about two hours. One-way trips are charged for the return kilometres too, as the car usually travels back empty, so a one-way drop costs roughly the same as an 800 km trip. Expect INR 82,000 to 1,05,000 in an S Class, INR 52,000 to 68,000 in a BMW 5 Series or Audi A6, INR 22,000 to 28,000 in a Fortuner or Hycross and INR 32,000 to 42,000 in a Kia Carnival, including driver allowance and tolls.

Jaipur Sightseeing by Luxury Car: Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Nahargarh

A full day of Jaipur sightseeing by luxury car usually follows a familiar route, and starting early is the key to avoiding crowds and heat. Leave the hotel by 8:00 AM to reach Amber Fort shortly after it opens at 8 AM, as tour buses start arriving by 9:30 AM. The fort is about 11 km north of the old city and takes 25 to 35 minutes from most hotels. Foreign visitors pay INR 500 per person for entry, or INR 1,000 for the composite ticket that also covers Nahargarh Fort, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall Museum and several other monuments over two days. Allow two to two and a half hours inside.

Parking at Amber Fort is the one place where a luxury car cannot take you all the way up. Cars park in the lower parking area near Maota Lake, and guests either walk up the ramp for about 15 to 20 minutes, take an open jeep to the upper courtyard for around INR 600 to 900 per jeep, or use the shuttle service operated near the parking. Your driver will drop you at the base, keep the car cool in the parking area and be ready when you message him on the way down. Parking costs around INR 100 to 200 for cars and is usually covered in our package price.

From Amber Fort, the drive back to the old city passes Jal Mahal, the water palace in Man Sagar Lake, where most guests stop for five minutes of photographs. Next comes the City Palace, open from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, with a foreigner ticket of about INR 1,000 to 1,300 depending on the areas included, and higher for the royal apartments tour. Directly opposite is Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory with giant stone instruments, open from 9 AM to 4:30 PM with a foreigner ticket of INR 200. Both sites need about an hour each with a good guide.

Hawa Mahal, the pink sandstone Palace of Winds, is a short walk or drive from the City Palace and is best photographed from the cafes across the street in late morning light. It is open from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and the foreigner ticket is INR 200. In the afternoon, many guests take a break at the hotel, then head to Nahargarh Fort on the ridge above the city for sunset. The road is steep and winding but suitable for all our cars, and the fort is open until around 5:30 PM, with a foreigner ticket of INR 200; the cafes and viewpoints outside remain open later for the sunset view.

A local English-speaking guide in Jaipur costs INR 1,800 to 3,000 (USD 22 to 36) for a half or full day, depending on group size, and is strongly recommended for Amber Fort and the City Palace. Lunch at a heritage hotel restaurant or a popular cafe near the old city is easy to fit in between the morning and afternoon sites. With a luxury car on an 8 hours and 80 km package, this whole day fits comfortably within the package limits, though a sunset stop at Nahargarh may add an extra hour.

How to Book a Luxury Car with Driver in Jaipur: Steps, Payment and Cancellation

Booking a chauffeur-driven luxury car in Jaipur is simple once you know what details to share. Start by deciding which vehicle suits your group: a Mercedes, BMW or Audi for two to three guests with moderate luggage, a Fortuner or Innova Hycross for up to six guests, or a Kia Carnival when you want maximum space. Note your arrival and departure flights or trains, the hotels where you are staying, and the days you want for city sightseeing and outstation trips. A rough day-by-day itinerary helps us quote accurately and suggest timings that avoid the worst traffic.

Next, send your enquiry on WhatsApp at +91 9799397401, by email to heritageindiapvttour@gmail.com or through the enquiry form on our website. Within a few hours we reply with vehicle options, photographs of the actual cars, the driver's experience and an itemised quote showing the package price, extra hour and extra kilometre rates, driver allowance and whether tolls and parking are included. Monument entry fees, guide fees, meals and tips are always listed separately so there are no surprises later.

Once you confirm, we ask for an advance of twenty to thirty per cent by bank transfer, card payment link or PayPal, with the balance payable to the driver in cash or by transfer during or at the end of the trip. For luxury cars such as the S Class and BMW 5 Series, we recommend booking at least three to four weeks ahead in the October to March season, and even earlier for Christmas, New Year and the peak wedding weeks of November and February. Cancellations made more than seven days before the service are usually refunded in full or after a small processing fee, while late cancellations may forfeit the advance.

A day before your arrival, you receive the driver's name, mobile number and vehicle registration on WhatsApp. On the day, the driver arrives fifteen minutes early, in a clean uniform, with the car washed, the AC running and bottled water ready. If your schedule changes during the trip, simply message the driver or our office and we will adjust timings, add a stop or extend hours at the agreed rates. Tipping is customary but never compulsory; INR 500 to 1,000 per day for a good luxury car driver is a common and appreciated amount.

Our founder, Magan Singh, has spent more than twenty-seven years driving guests across Rajasthan and North India, and we have now served over sixteen thousand travellers, mostly from the USA, UK, Australia and Europe, with a Tripadvisor rating of 5.0 from 448 reviews. That experience shows in small details, such as knowing which gate at Amber Fort is quietest at 8 AM, or which palace hotel porch can take a long-wheelbase Mercedes. Share your dates and group size, and we will send you a clear, fixed quote for your luxury car hire in Jaipur.
